Careers in Science and beyond is a two-day workshop at the i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde, dedicated to career development for young scientists and graduate students, particularly those in the Biological and Medical Sciences.

The workshop aims to provide essential information and ideas to broaden young scientists' perception of possible career possibilities, and help develop basic skills and competences needed for successfully entering and thriving in future careers.

The invited speakers and company representatives will give talks and engage in face-to-face activities, providing insight on three central career paths, to help you find:

-"Your place in Academia"
-"Your place in the private sector"
-"Your own place"

This is also an outstanding opportunity to connect with potential employers and collaborators, and to set your own network. The workshop will be held at the i3S, on the 20^th and 21^st of October, 2016.
