I graduated in Biology by the University of Aveiro in 2005 and received my Master's degree in Forensic Genetics in 2012, University of Porto. Since 2006 I have been the head of Ipatimup's sequencing service. I have also been involved in certification process, equipment management, among other tasks, as a former member of Risk Management System and of Technical Body. At present, as the Team Coordinator of Genomics Core Facility (GenCore) at I3S, I am responsible for managing the facility.
