I hold a Master degree in Bioengineering from the University of Porto. I am interested in evaluating the effect of ancestry in the context of complex diseases, particularly in gastric cancer. The approach is multidisciplinary comprising areas such as bioinformatics, statistics, molecular and clinical genetics.
