Ana Barros has a bachelor degree in Biology and a Ph.D. in Teaching and Dissemination of Science from University of Porto, Portugal. Currently she is a post-doctoral research assistant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center working on cancer prevention education. From 2012-2014 she was a member of a Health Education project Cancer, Educate to Prevent at IPATIMUP. She also has experience as biology teacher and on the development of educational activities and multimedia contents on genetics and molecular for biology teachers and high school students. Her research interests include health education campaign evaluation (qualitative and quantitative analysis) for cancer prevention education.
