I graduated in Biology at Faculty of Sciences at University of Porto and I obtained my Master Degree in Molecular Oncology by Institute for the Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar at University of Porto. I did my Master Thesis at Portuguese Institute of Oncology (IPO) of Porto, focusing on cancer epigenetics. Currently, I am part of Genetic Dynamics of Cancer Cells research group of the Institute of Molecular Pathology and Immunology of the University of Porto (Ipatimup/I3S), where I am studying the mechanisms of transmission of therapy resistance between cancer cells.
