Studied Biochemistry (Bachelor) from 2011 to 2014 in the University of Coimbra. Went on to acquire a Master's Degree on Molecular Oncology through ICBAS (University of Porto). Did a master thesis on the application of the CRISPR/Cas9 technique for the imaging of genomic loci "in vivo" and published a review article regarding the role of the ATRX protein in the ALT phenotype. Currently doing my PhD in the "Vertebrate Development and Regeneration" research group, trying to understand how gene expression regulation affects the development of the zebrafish pancreas
