Omar Santin Martinez
Structural Biochemistry
Junior Researcher
After a short stay at the university of Oxford at the Structural genomics consortium where he was involved in purification and characterization of human Bromodomains, Omar spent 5 years at the university of Cantabria working in the structural characterization of bacterial lipid synthases. During this period he did a short stay at the University of Puerto Rico and finally got his PhD in Spain. Now he joined the Morais-Cabral group at the i3S in Porto to study EAG potassium channels from a structural and a biochemical point of view.
