I graduated in Microbiology in Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto (ESB-UCP) in 2018. During my Microbiology degree, I developed my course’s final project on Fastinov® with Professor Cidália Pina-Vaz, entitled “Rapid Susceptibility Evaluation of Ceftalozane/Tazobactan by Flow Cytometry Directly from Positive Blood Cultures”. That project resulted in a poster communication acceptance in ASM Microbe 2018 – June 7-11 and the poster was presented in ASM Microbe 2018 – June 7-11. In 2018 I started the Master Degree in Medicine and Molecular Oncology in FMUP (Faculty of Medicine of University of Porto) and I am currently developing my master degree thesis on "Identify the immunomodulation potential of pancreatic cancer exosomes" at i3S/IPATIMUP in the Genetic Dynamics of Cancer Cells group. The group's research focus is on the crosstalk between tumor cells mediated by exosomes and how these events lead to the overall dynamics of a tumor. I am an enthusiastic for the health industry, in particular for cancer and immunotherapy.
