Manuela Oliveira is a Research Assistant at the Population Genetics and Evolution Group at i3S/IPATIMUP. M. Oliveira has a degree in Biology (FCUP, 1999), a Master in Genetic Resources and Improvement of Agricultural and Forestry Species (UTAD, 2003), and a PhD in Biology (FCUP, 2009). M. Oliveira research interests focus on the detection and genotyping of microorganisms (fungi and bacteria) with different applications, from Agriculture to Public Health. She has published 50 peer-reviewed papers, with 688 citations by other authors and with a h-index of 14 (data from Google Scholar) .
