Nuno Alves
Principal Researcher
Nuno Alves graduated in Biology from the University of Porto (2000). He did is Ph.D. thesis at the Academical Medical Center in Amsterdam (2001-2007) under the support of fellowship from the GABBA PhD program. Next, he initiated an EMBO Postdoctoral Long-Term fellowship at the Institut Pasteur in Paris (2007-2010). In 2010, he moved to the IBMC in Porto as a Principal Investigator sponsored by the Ciência 2008 program. Since 2014, Nuno Alves holds the position of the Group Leader a IBMC supported by an Investigator FCT Development Grant.
