Sara Vaz holds a BSc in Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (2010-2013) and a MSc in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Coimbra (2013-2015). Currently, she is a PhD student from the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (University of Porto) developing her work at the Ageing and Aneuploidy Group (i3S), under the supervision of Dr. Elsa Logarinho. She is mainly interested in understanding / exploring the molecular signatures of chronological ageing for their implications in cancer and ageing therapies.
