PhD in Neurosciences from Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto; her thesis was about the role of Transthyretin in Aß transport from the brain to the liver, impact in Alzheimer's disease. She was receiving BIM fellowship from IBMC funded by Fundació La Marató, Spain and has supervised students in IBMC and I3S (Estagio Ciencia viva 2014, 2015 and 2017).
