The Postdoc Appreciation Week (PAW) is an annual worldwide event that takes place during the third week of September and aims to recognize and celebrate the significant contributions of postdoctoral researchers. The celebration of this week started in 2009 by the US National Postdoc Association (NPA). Currently, many institutions worldwide celebrate this week by organizing events to reinforce the importance of postdoctoral researchers.
This year i3S and COLife are joining forces to mark this week also in the Portuguese calendar.
Join us to celebrate together the Postdoc Appreciation Week 2021!

Panel Discussion about the Postdoc role and its importance
The panel discussion will count on the participation of scientific directors, principal investigators, and postdoctoral researchers, who will share their perspectives on the importance of postdocs role for the organization, the research group, and the individual professional and personal development.
The Panel Discussion will be moderated by Mariana Silva (COLife coordinator) and Paula Perez (Coordinator of i3S Career Development Unit).
