With the challenge of organizing a memorable event combining an open and lively scientific atmosphere with moments of informal interaction involving all i3S members, we will try a slightly different format for our yearly gathering. Following on the suggestions presented by many of you after the 5th annual meeting, we will expand the speed talks that had so much success last year. We will also have selected talks from i3S researchers that have been distinguished throughout the year, and a session on new trends in publishing. The program will include the first i3S annual plenary session, where an overview of i3S strategic developments and highlights related to all services and departments will be presented. Finally, we will take the occasion to celebrate São Martinho with our typical and famous i3S magusto!
To make all this possible we have already challenged some of you to get involved with the organization of specific moments, whom we thank in advance. We hope that many more will get involved and contribute to the success of the event. Registrations for the meeting will open soon. Abstract submission will be open until September 17th.
