Overview
This workshop proposes to widen researchers' competence scope when it comes to scientific communications. Based on the specific needs of participants, this training action is entirely experiential and aims to develop the fundamentals of visual communication as well as strategies and communication skills, such as storytelling, infographics, sequential image, background/figure and text/image relations, digital image specifications, text as image, visual composition and other tools to effectively design presentations.

Objectives
To improve visual literacy for scientific researchers;
To strengthen the role of imagery in communication and scientific research;
To boost the dissemination and intelligibility of scientific culture.

Target Audience
Doctoral students in Life and Health Sciences in particular, but researchers in general are welcome.

Workshop requirements
Bring an idea (of an information that would like to convert into a scheme, a graph, an abstract or other); a personal laptop; photo device (such as mobile phone).
