Institutional Affairs

a) PEOPLE AND REPORTING TEAM The People and Reporting (P&R) team oversees the arrival and departure of research and administrative staff, fellows and visitors. It provides information on the institution and helps newcomers settle into i3S. The P&R team is also responsible for coordinating the reporting, by collecting elements and data, namely related to people, publications, thesis and projects. The team works in close collaboration with other units, e.g. Human Resources and Communication.

b) SECRETARIAT TEAM This team provides secretariat support to the Director, Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Scientific Commission and Scientific Council. They are also responsible for the institute's incoming and outgoing correspondence.

c) LEGAL AFFAIRS TEAM The Legal Affairs Office provides assistance on legal matters related to the management and operation of i3S. The office's main task is to review the contracts, in order to harmonize them under common i3S procedures, in close collaboration with the Technology Transfer and Programmes Unit and other transversal units. Whenever deemed appropriate, the legal affairs team also works with outsourced law firms.
