CM 37/2026_SUDOE - Acquisition of Supervision/Mentoring Services for Genetic Counselling Professionals

Under Decree-Law 60/2018 of August 3rd and to comply with Article 1º-A of the Public Procurement Code and the Interpretative Communication of the Commission - 2006/C 179/02, published in the Official Journal of 01/08/2006, i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde da Universidade do Porto - Associação (“i3S”) hereby makes public its need for the Acquisition of Supervision/Mentoring Services for Genetic Counselling Professionals

With the present acquisition of services, i3S intends to obtain specialised expertise to promote safe practices among genetics professionals, in order to prevent burnout and to develop strategies that enable them to adapt to new challenges, in a process of continuous improvement of skills. The emphasis is on achieving a higher level of patient satisfaction with the healthcare provided.

The advances, in Medical Genetics, have naturally increased exponentially the importance of specialisation among professionals in genetic counselling.

Spain, France, and Portugal have specialised training in this area, but have not yet achieved recognition for this profession, which means that they have a very reduced and dispersed number of professionals, without mentoring services and without a unified strategy for their professional progress.

MAG-SUDOE proposes a pioneering solution to implement a joint MAG service in south-western Europe, which will benefit the three countries involved.

The results will provide a starting point to promote MAG on a transnational scale, producing information that supports policy decisions on health for an equal and high-quality health system.

 With the aforementioned acquisition is carried out within the scope of the project with reference MAG-SUDOE, S2/4.5/P0159, financed by the ERDF through the Interreg Sudoe VI-B Programme 2021-2027.

·      When preparing proposals, interested parties should take into account the conditions described above and the minimum requirements mentioned in Annex I. Proposals must clearly demonstrate their compliance with these conditions in order to be properly evaluated.

·      Please note that you may only submit files with a maximum total size, together with the text of the email, not exceeding 25MB. Files may be submitted in the following formats: pdf; zip, rar, xls, docx, doc and odt. If the proposal exceeds this size, multiple emails should be sent, always with the same reference in the subject line.

·      After submission, the interested party will receive confirmation of the act via email.

·      The interested party will be responsible for any problems that occur in sending or receiving emails that are too large.

·      The i3S will consider the proposal that best fulfils all the requirements mentioned in Annex I and offers the best ratio of experience/quality/price, in accordance with the evaluation methodology described in Annex II
