CM 29/2025_PRR - Acquisition of an Isothermal Titration Microcalorimeter

Under Decree-Law 60/2018 of August 3rd and to comply with Article 1º-A of the Public Procurement Code and the Interpretative Communication of the Commission - 2006/C 179/02, published in the Official Journal of 01/08/2006, i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde da Universidade do Porto - Associação (“i3S”) hereby makes public its need for the Acquisition of an Isothermal Titration Microcalorimeter

The acquisition of this equipment, aims to provide i3S’s laboratories with the material resources needed to develop R&D activities in terms of characterization of molecular interaction label free and  free in solution with the measurements of binding affinity and thermodynamic parameters by isothermal titration calorimetry, making possible for measurements using small amounts of sample thus allowing to analyze samples available in scarce amounts (e.g. proteins difficult to produce or purify). This will also allow for a reduction on the energy and resources burden of producing and purifying proteins and sourcing other biomolecules for assays

With the aforementioned acquisition, i3S intends to equip its laboratories with the material resources necessary for the development of its research and development activities, within the scope of project reference UID/PRR/4293/2025, financed by European PRR funds, entered in the FCT budget.

Contract Type: Acquisition of Goods

Delivery Deadline: maximum 75 days

Installation timeframe: 15 days from delivery at date to be set in agreement between the parts

Specialized Training: 1 day

Payment Conditions: 60 days

Maximum Price: €109,450 (one hundred and nine thousand, four hundred and fifty euros)

Note: The invoice shall be issued after the complete delivery of the equipment.

Warranty Period: 3 years

Spare Parts Continuity of Manufacture: 10 (ten) years

Deadline for submission of proposals: 19/12/2025, at 5:00 p.m.

 The proposals must comply with must fulfil the requirements set out in the Annex I document

 The i3S will consider the most competitive proposal the one that which fulfils all the requirements mentioned in Annex I and has the best quality/price ratio, in accordance with the evaluation methodology outlined in the Annex III (as per the Annex)

In the event of a tie, the most competitive proposal will be the one that best fulfils the goals of the acquisition.
