CM 38/2026_ERC - Acquisition of a 3D Bioprinting System
Publication Date: 2026.07.17Deadline for submission of proposals: 2026.07.23 05:00 PMUnder Decree-Law 60/2018 of August 3rd and to comply with Article 1º-A of the Public Procurement Code and the Interpretative Communication of the Commission - 2006/C 179/02, published in the Official Journal of 01/08/2006, IBMC hereby makes public its need for the Acquisition of a 3D Bioprinting System
i3S intends to provide its laboratories with the necessary means to carry out their research and development activity within project “FibroRevert - Modeling and targeting cell-extracellular matrix communication to revert tissue fibrosis (GA 101221669)”. This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon Europe framework programme CE-HORIZON - ERC-2025-StG.
The acquisition of a 3D Bioprinting system is essential for achieving the scientific objectives of the project by enabling the production of biomimetic three-dimensional (3D) skin cellular models. The system must allow the precise, controlled, and reproducible deposition of biomaterials and living cells in 3D models through the multilayer and multimaterial deposition of bioinks and the controlled crosslinking of biomaterials during and/or after the bioprinting process. These capabilities are indispensable for the development of advanced experimental models with a high degree of reproducibility and biological relevance, which are fundamental for the successful implementation of the scientific activities of the project.
