Bachelor`s degree in Marine Biology in the Faculty of Science and Technology - University of Algarve. Master's Degree on Molecular and Cellular Biology in University of Aveiro. Recently, finished my PhD thesis where I tried to understand how the disruption of cis-regulatory elements can contribute to the development of type 2 diabetes, using zebrafish as a model organism in Vertebrate Development and Regeneration group.
