Ana Filipa Terceiro is currently a PhD student at Addiction Biology group (I3S, Porto, Portugal). Ana obtained her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from University of Beira Interior (2017) and then her master's degree in Biochemistry from University of Porto (2019). During her master's thesis she explored the impacts of methamphetamine on the actin cytoskeleton of neurons at the Addiction Biology group (I3S).  In her current project, she is studying the mechanisms regulating the molecular adaptations occurring in the cells of the nervous system, under the effect of methamphetamine.
