Pedro Moradas-Ferreira graduated in Chemistry by the Faculty of Science, University of Lisbon, and completed is PhD in Biochemistry at the University College London. Later he joined the Department of Molecular Biology, Free University of Brussels for 6 months as an EMBO Fellow and the Free University of Amsterdam for 12 months. He is Full Professor of Biochemistry at ICBAS. The main research interests are the molecular mechanisms underlying the adaptive oxidative stress response in yeast.
