Raushan Kumar
Research fellow

Raushan Kumar currently holds a Research fellowship position in the Molecular Biomaterials research group at i3S. His primary focus is on developing innovative peptide-based antimicrobial formulations to address bacterial infections.

Raushan earned his integrated BS-MS Degree in Chemical Sciences from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISERK) in 2022. His master's thesis delved into the catalytic and binding features of amyloid peptide sequences. He is also an associate member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

With a diverse academic background, Raushan possesses expertise in organic chemistry, amyloid-based functional soft nanomaterials, supramolecular chemistry, self-assembling hydrogels, and their applications in biomaterials for tissue engineering.
