Berta Lima de Carvalho is a molecular geneticist at Department of Genetics of Faculty of Medicine of University of Porto, since 2007. In 2002 concluded her graduation in Biology/Geology (teaching), at University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro and in 2007, her MSc in Medicine and Molecular Oncology at Faculty of Medicine of University of Porto. In 2022, she finished her PhD  in Biomedicine at Faculty of Medicine of University of Porto, in the field of molecular genetic landscape of CAH disease.
