Luís Andrade Barreira Grant

The Luís Andrade Barreira Grant was devised to support young researchers in developing original projects in the field of cancer and had its first edition in 2026.

Worth €15,000, the Luís Andrade Barreira Grant is intended to fund, for 12 months, a research project to be carried out at i3S. It is awarded based on scientific merit to a young researcher at the early stages of their career. This support allows for the promotion of original work with the potential to impact the advancement of knowledge and oncological research.
