i3S Annual Meeting | 29-30 November 2018
It is a pleasure to announce the 7th i3S Annual Meeting that will take place on the 29th and 30th of November 2018 at the Axis Vermar Conference & Beach Hotel in Póvoa de Varzim.
The transdisciplinary character of i3S has clearly made a scientific impact in recent years, promoting collaborative projects within different i3S integrative programmes, addressing questions that require the participation of basic and applied sciences. Overall, this is being driven by numerous i3S interfaces that established dynamic R&D projects in a multitude of research areas.
This year, the i3S annual meeting will celebrate these INTERFACES, highlighting ongoing and new projects that arise upon the interaction of the different integrative programs, Cancer, Host Interaction and Response and Neurobiology and Neurologic Disorders.
We expect a lively and enthusiastic program, promoting Mix & Match scientific sessions and selected oral presentations, which will take place at the main Auditorium. Parallel sessions in Science communication; Career development; Technology transfer programs, as well as Speed Talks will also take place. The program will additionally include a Publishing session, with invited journal editors. More information will come soon.
