V Electron Microscopy Technical Meeting

HEMS at i3S is organizing the V Electron Microscopy Technical Meeting. This year's theme is Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS, also abbreviated EDX), an analytical technique that enables the chemical characterization/elemental analysis of materials.
Purpose | The meeting provides knowledge about elemental analysis using a Transmission and a Scanning Electron Microscope with an Energy Dispersive X-Ray Detector (STEM - SEM/EDX). Lectures and special topics are covered by experts from Izasa Scientific, Scansci, and ZEISS with guidance from HEMS/i3S collaborators.
Target participants | This meeting targets users with some Electron Microscopy experience and/ or who are interested in applying EDS analysis in their work.
The meeting will be at Auditorium Corino de Andrade and it will be broadcast via Youtube - https://youtu.be/gChMg-uA1u8.
Please note that only participants in the auditorium will be available to make questions. Online participants will not be able to interact with the speaker.
Registration is not necessary, but attendance participation is limited to the occupation of the auditorium.
