5th International Gastric Cancer Linkage Consortium (IGCLC) meeting
June 13th-15th 2024 | Vilar Oporto Hotel, Porto, Portugal
We are delighted to inform that the 5th International Gastric Cancer Linkage Consortium (IGCLC) meeting, will take place in Porto, Portugal from June 13th-15th 2024.
The meeting will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, and patients from around the world, who have been treating, studying or dealing with Hereditary Diffuse Gastric and Lobular Breast Cancer syndrome (most well-known as Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer or HDGC).
This is the fifth time we meet with the major goal of discussing and updating the Consensus Clinical Guidelines for this disease.
Besides defining more accurate guidelines for the diagnosis and management of patients and families at risk, we will hear about fundamental and translational science produced worldwide in this area, while hearing patients’ life stories and challenges.
The IGCLC 2024 meeting program includes plenary presentations and patient testimonials, scientific presentations, speed talks, poster presentations, and working group discussions. This will allow sharing knowledge on real patient clinical data, cutting-edge scientific results and patients’ perspectives.
Unlike previous IGCLC meetings, this meeting will kick-off with preparatory online meetings across a range of disciplines. This will increase the productivity of the onsite meeting as well as the discussion among participants.
This meeting will be a unique opportunity to share experiences and understand the nature of the disease, its associated risks, while promoting effective collaborations.
This will be the largest IGCLC meeting to date, and will host 200 delegates, from different areas of the globe.
The Organizing Committee looks forward to welcome all invited delegates to the historic city of Porto, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
