The Future of Science in Portugal

Science is a key global resource for our collective future, our wealth, job creation and shared prosperity, both at home and abroad. Such a shift requires robust dialogue between the public, knowledge producers in many domains, and parliamentarians that represent the different political views both nationally and at a European level. The Institute of Research and Innovation in Health (i3S) of the University of Porto receives the Conference “ The Future of Science in Portugal” on Monday 4 June (4 pm). This conference provides a national forum to strengthen the debate on emerging issues of research and innovation policy in Portugal, as well as to promote the necessary involvement of major stakeholders in policy making and the diffusion of knowledge in Science.
