WELCOME

i3S/IPATIMUP has been organizing Conferências do Equinócio since 1997. The purpose behind it is to hit the brakes on the daily routine and to use this day to think, in a traversal and multidisciplinary way, about research, medicine and citizenship and its multiple sociocultural implications. This year, at the XVII edition, the first to be organized conjointly with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (FMUP), the focus will be on the National Health System. Entitled “O Serviço Nacional de Saúde - Uma cidade para todos” (The National Health System - a city for everyone), the event is being chaired by Jorge Soares e Rui Mota Cardoso, while speakers include António Guerreiro, Luís Campos, Catarina Resende de Oliveira, António Silva, Marisa Miraldo and Arlindo de Oliveira.

Registration is free, but mandatory.
