Announcement for open positions

The i3S consortium, headed by the University of Porto, brings together four institutions and researchers from several schools of the University of Porto. The i3S results from the long-term collaboration between IBMC, INEB and IPATIMUP, encompassing joint projects, co-supervision of PhD students, sharing of large equipment and employment of research staff under coordinated policies. The wide participation of schools, research institutions and hospitals in a research institute is unique in Portugal and is a valuable asset for science and technology development. This combination creates an environment favourable for real breakthrough research and translation of discoveries into the clinic. The i3S provides a vibrant environment for new scientific discoveries and translation into improvements in health care. The i3S focuses on three Integrative Programs: Cancer, Host Response and Interaction, and Neurobiology and Neurologic Disease.

i3S recently applied to the call NORTE - 45 - 2015 – 02 - “PROJETOS ESTRUTURADOS DE I&D&I”, funded by “Norte 2020 – Programa Operacional Regional do Norte” with the following applications:
