Graduated in Aquatic Sciences from Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar and master degree in Quality control, Faculty of Pharmacy, at University of Porto. Since 2001 at 2006, had been working as Molecular Geneticist in Unigene-CGPP, at Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology (IBMC). Presently is Head of the cell culture and genotyping core facility of IBMC. The research interests are focus in genomics methodologies, particularly genotyping, sequencing and gene expression. Have more than 15 publications in international peer reviewed journals.
