Carolina Barroso
Visiting Scientists

Carolina Barroso graduated in Aquatic Sciences (ICBAS, 2012), holds a Master Degree in Biological Aquatic Resources (FCUP, 2014) and a PhD Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology (ICBAS/FCUP, 2022). Her PhD work was conducted at Iron and Innate Immunity Group (i3S/IBMC) and was focused on the characterization of different antimicrobial peptides of the European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax). She is currently a Junior Researcher under the project “NovInDog - New functional protein ingredients for dog feeding: a sustainable approach”.
