Rita Carvalho obtained her degree in Biology in 2012 at Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra. Then in 2015 she obtained her master degree in Biomedical Research at Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra. Since may 2016, Rita is a research fellow at the Cancer Genetics Group at Institute of Molecular Pathology and Immunology of the University of Porto (Ipatimup), working under the supervision of Joana Paredes.
