Ana Catarina Costa graduated in Biology at the University of Aveiro and holds a Master degree in Neurobiology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto. During her Master, Ana joined the Nerve Regeneration group to study the role of microtubule organisation in DRG axon asymmetry and intrinsic regenerative capacity. This work is a collaboration between Sousa's Lab and Misgeld Lab at the Technical University of Munich. She is currently a PhD student at Sousa and Misgeld's Labs.
