2014 Undergraduate Degree in Microbiology and a Master's Degree in Applied Microbiology, both by the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Catholic University of Porto. First ERASMUS in the third year of the Microbiology Degree, where final undergraduate project entitled "Epstein-Barr Virus-Related B Cell Lymphoproliferative Disorder After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation" was completed in the laboratory of Virology of the University Hospital of St. Orsola-Malpighi, University of Bologna, Italy. Completed Master's thesis in London, for 8 months in the Department of Virology at the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London, working on two projects related to the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) entitled "CONTRIBUTION OF RBP-Jκ AND BS69 TO GENE REGULATION BY EBNA2 AND EBNA3". Part of the Scientific Research Project "Clinical Studies on a Multivalent Vaccine for Human Visceral Leishmaniasis" Parasite Disease Group, IBMC. Currently a PhD student with the project "Evaluation of Extracellular Vesicles Potential as Biomarkers for Human Leishmaniasis"
