Inês Mendes Pinto, PharmD, PhD, completed her doctoral and postdoctoral training in Molecular Medicine at Harvard University, Harvard Medical School, and the Stowers Institute for Medical Research, USA. In 2014, she joined the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory as a Marie Curie Fellow and was subsequently appointed Research & Technology Coordinator for the Health Unit, where she established and led the Cell Mechanics Laboratory. In 2021, she joined the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (i3S) at the University of Porto as a Principal Investigator, where she leads research at the interface of Molecular Medicine and Biosensing.
