Rita obtained her BSc in Biology in 2018 and an MSc in Molecular Medicine and Oncology in 2020, both from the University of Porto. 

She is currently a PhD student within the Differentiation & Cancer Group and the Doctoral program of Biomedicine (Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto).
