Ana Luísa Machado is a a Master Research Fellow in Tumor and Microenvironment Interactions group at i3S/INEB. She obtained his degree in Biology in 2016, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, and then finished his Masters in Health Biochemistry, in 2019. From March 2015 to June 2016, she do an internship at Laboratório de Apoio à Investigação em Medicina Molecular at Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto. Her master thesis, between November 2017 and March 2019, was conducted at the Epithelial Interactions in Cancer group of i3S/IPATIMUP, with the project aim of understanding the role of KRAS mutation in the modulation of the tumor microenvironment, in particular the immune population, under the supervision of Doutora Sérgia Velho.
