I did my BSc in Biomedical Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra. During my MSc in Molecular Biomedicine at the Department of Medical Sciences, University of Aveiro, I did my thesis about the contribution of a specific methyltransferase for the regulation of mammary epithelial cell’s proliferation and differentiation. I also did a MRes in Cancer Biology at the Division of Cancer Research, University of Dundee (UK). There I worked on a project that focused on the mechanisms behind the DNA repair response to double-strand breaks. Currently I am a research fellow (MSc) in the Genetic Dynamics of Cancer Cells Research Group at i3S/IPATIMUP.
