I finished my Master's Degree in Bioengineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in 2018. I did my Master Thesis in the field of Neuroengineering, at the University of Bath, UK, supervised by Dr. Paulo Rocha from the University of Bath and co-supervised by Dr. Paulo Aguiar from INEB, i3S. In 2018, I started working at the Neuroengineering and Computational Neuroscience Lab, i3S, in a funded research project.

I am currently doing my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at FEUP. I am specifically interested in developing novel machine learning algorithms and efficient
stimulation protocols for automatic prediction and control of neuronal activity.
