I have completed my Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Aveiro, in 2017. Following this, I completed my Master's Degree in Cancer biology at UCL (University College London). During my Master's I had the opportunity to develop my dissertation project at the Cell Death, Cancer and Inflammation Research Group at the UCL Cancer institute, aimed at unravelling the role of RIP1 in controlling cellular life and death mediated by TNF. I joined the Cell Activation and Gene Expression group in December 2018 to work in a project focusing on the interaction between invariant NKT cells and B cells in Gaucher disease patients and its crossroads with the CD6-CD166 interaction profile.
