José Carlos Pereira, Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, has been working since 2018 at the nexus between science, society, and public policy. In 2019, he joined i3S/INEB, where he took on post‑award responsibilities while completing a postgraduate program in Science and Technology Management and Policy at NOVA. He is a member of the founding committee and one of the founding members of the Portuguese Association for Science Management. Since 2025, he has been part of the Human Resources team at i3S.
