Colaboration in multicentric projects as the " EUROBACT STUDY - (European Society of Intensive Care Medicine), the "European Registry of H1N1 infection in ICU" (European Society of Intensive Care Medicine) and in "HIV / AIDS RESEARCH - Increased cardiovascular risk in HIV infection. Has participated in 71 round tables or symposiums, is co-author of more than 223 communications, 80 of them presented at international meetings, 49 publications and 29 other extended in the form of abstracts. Organizes and coordinates the annual ?Post graduate course in antimicrobials? in the Faculty of Medicine of Porto. Has organized, a pre-Congress ?Parasitology Course? in the annual Infectious Diseases Congress in 2012. Has collaborated in organization and is a Course Coordinators of the ?Technical Workshop for Basic and Clinical Parasitology? has been accepted and will be part of the ESCMID education programme 2013, in Porto. Organizes the regular meetings twice a week, in the Service, concerning thematic presentations, clinical cases or journal club. Since she is the coordinator of hepatitis B and C the consultation in monoinfected patients, she is trying to reorganize the query and also implement research into this area. Care is provided for hepatitis B and C patients, evaluating the need for treatment according to international guidelines.
