I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biological Health Sciences from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Azores (UAC). Afterwards, I complete my Master's degree in Biomedicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in University of Barcelona (UB), with specialization in Basic and Translational Research in Cancer. Currently, I am a PhD student at UnIGENe with general interest in doing research on genetic aspects related to neurodegenerative disorders.
