Filipa Campos

Filipa Campos holds a MSc in Bioengineering with a specialization in Molecular Biotechnology from the Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto (FEUP) and ICBAS - School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (2021). During her master, Filipa did her Erasmus+ Internship at Institute Cochin (Université Paris Descartes) where she studied how respiratory viruses manipulate and reprogram the macrophage responses. She did her master thesis at the Immune Regulation group, on the topic of developing a lung organoid system to study infectious diseases. This project was designed within the scope of REMODEL and supervised by Dr. Marta Alves da Silva and Dr. Margarida Saraiva. She is currently working as a research fellow at the Bioengineered Surfaces group, under the supervision of Dr. Cristina Martins.
