Marlene Quintas graduated in Nutritional Sciences at University of Porto (2009). In 2011 she joined to the Unit for Genetics and Epidemiological Research in Neurological Disorders at IBMC, completing her MSc in Epidemiology in 2012 (FMUP). Currently, she working on her PhD thesis focused in the mechanisms of post-transcriptional gene regulation by microRNAs in Machado-Joseph disease.
