Andreia Costa is the head of i3S Advanced Training Unit. She completed a degree in Biology at Faculty of Sciences of Porto University and a MSc at the same Faculty with a project exploring the effect of environmental enrichment in the immune response of rodents chronically infected with Mycobacterium avium. She holds a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences at Institute for the Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar of Porto University, on the topic of Laboratory Animal Science Education and Competence Assessment. Andreia takes part on several projects, among which member of the Working Group for Assessment of Practical Skills for the EU-funded ETPLAS Project.
