I hold a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD). In 2021 I started a master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine at the University of Aveiro (UA) in which I developed a great interest in Neurosciences. I later joined the Nerve Regeneration group in September 2022 where I developed my master's dissertation on microtubule and axonal transport defects in Transthyretin Amyloid Polyneuropathy (ATTR-PN) under the supervision of Dr. Márcia Liz. Currently, I hold a position as a Research Fellow where I continue to delve into the intricacies of the
axonal cytoskeleton in ATTR-PN.
