Joana Bravo is graduated in Pathologic, Cytologic and Thanatologic Anatomy since 2010. In the same year she started working as a young research fellow in the Addiction Biology group (at the time Neuroprotection laboratory) from the Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology (IBMC), University of Porto. Her recent research interests are focused in clarifying how exposure to psychostimulants may lead to chronic neuroinflammation and associated neurodegeneration.
